Electronics & RF Engineer (Full time, 5 days a week)
Experienced (development) engineer for wideband analog electro-optical communication products
Job description
- Chain analysis of SMT modules and components, including gain, noise, signal detection threshold, compression, twinning, ripple, and tape width.
- Execution of all stages of design and development, starting from IT design, guiding the editing of a printed circuit for RF, circuit assembly, initial operation, characterization measurements, performance correction, design update, and preparation of the first article.
- Design and implementation of electronic circuits for voltage stabilization and distribution and digital interfaces for control and conversion of analog signals. Microcontroller-controlled circuit design includes matching logic levels and fast logic circuits.
- Working with Altium, SPICE electronic IT tools.
- Experience working on packaging electronic circuits for production, heat dissipation, stability, etc.
- Locating noise sources and minimization design, filter circuits to achieve extremely low noise.
- Designing circuits for resistance to radiated and conducted fields, shielding, and filtering. Analysis of radiated and conducted noise sources.
- Analysis of power dissipation, dissipation limitations at high temperatures, and calculation of current consumption for the purpose of selecting and defining components, power dissipation considerations, and derating.
- Proved capabilities of RF measurements and working with RF equipment, including VNA, spectrum analyzer, etc.
- Knowledge of software development (C) for microcontrollers and user interface software in Linux and Windows environments (C++), real-time software, and software optimization – an advantage.
- Product life management (updating versions, event logging for fault analysis).
- Project management from idea and concept via prototyping to the manufactured product.
- Technical support for customers during the characterization phase and post-sale.
