Analog RF over Fiber modules convert RF signals to optical signals and back. One unit has an optical transmitter which converts the signal from RF to Optical, and a second receiver unit converts the signal from Optical to RF.
The optical transmitter is connected to the optical receiver by a single mode optical fiber provided by the customer.
RFOptic offers low frequency (up to 6GHz) direct modulation RFoF solutions covering bandwidths from 0.5MHz up to 6GHz. These low frequency RFoF modules are programmable over USB monitoring & control interface. They include 2.5GHz, 2.5GHz (GPS), 3GHz, 4GHz, and 6GHz. Enclosures containing sets of modules can be monitired and controlled remotely via HTML/SNMP/REST protocols.

All our low frequency programmable RFoF modules feature excellent flatness, >40dB gain links, and NF around 5db with LNA On.
