Multi-signal, Distributed, RF-Optical Routing for Phased Array

RFOptic provides customized multi-signal, distributed, RF-Optical routing subsystems for phased array RADAR, EW, and interferometry applications. These systems are designed to meet the bandwidth and specific signal routing of RADAR applications. The subsystems can include multiple RF inputs, optical routing with multi-port distribution, and RF signal conditioning and amplification.

RFOptic provides two options. Our programmable CWDM 6.0GHz RFoF 6-link system is phase-matched to ±7.5° up to 6.0GHz.

Furthermore, each RFoF link has full built-in diagnostic capability, including Tx, Rx self-test and complete link test (Optical and RF). These features save the cost of test equipment and provide real-time diagnostics of any deployed link. Our user-friendly RFoF software enables adjustment of the RF and Optical parameters, such as link gain, Noise Figure, P1dB, Optical power, LED indication, and module information, either locally over USB connection or remotely with Ethernet-enabled Management & Control.

Our WDM 18GHz RFoF multi-link system is phase-matched to ±10° up to 18GHz and optionally up to 40GHz.
