A large US integrator active in the defense industry. The company provides a wide range of services, including cybersecurity, communications, modeling, simulation & training solutions designed to help its customers to connect, protect, and prepare for EW operations. The company is known for its expertise in providing and maintaining high-quality modeling and simulation products.
The Challenge
For one of its clients in the defense industry, the integrator was looking for a cross-communication solution between radios in a flight simulation setting.
The Solution
RFOptic’s Multi-Simulator Radio Interconnect System provides multi-channel private wideband RF connection between multiple radios and data links. It is fully bidirectional and allows a shielded and private equivalent of over-the-air connectivity of numerous radio channels.
The result
All radios are able to receive and transmit to all other radios through a fully isolated optical interconnect without any emissions or susceptibility to external interference or eavesdropping. The integrator was impressed and placed an order for our new system, which is currently being deployed by the military. The deployed system supports numerous radio channels of flight simulators and similar trainers, and enables group training across all radios and data links.
